LFC - member of the European Documentary Network

Lithuanian Film Centre has become the member of the European Documentary Network (EDN).  Lithuanian Film Centre has been given five accreditations, three of them can be used by members of Lithuanian film organizations.

After LFC became the member of organization uniting documentary film professionals, for documentarians of our country it opens broader opportunities for co-operation with partners from abroad, gives access to the latest information about the documentary film production financing. In addition, the EDN network representatives provide advice on documentary project development issues, organize conferences, seminars and workshops.

EDN network unites 1,000 members from 60 countries around the world.  EDN started in 1996 as an organisation for documentary filmmakers, producers, distributors, national film institutions and centres, universities, festivals, etc.

Lithuanian Film Centre gave three of the five membership spots to the representatives of Lithuanian film industry - Arūnas Matelis, Rasa Miškinytė and Giedrė Žickytė - representing umbrella organizations for Lithuanian filmmakers and producers.
