Festival was established in 1995 and now that sixteen years have passed it earned its reputation because it is showing high qua move with movie Next Festival - Independent Vilnius Non-Commercial Film and Video Festival Scanorama - European Film Forum Scanorama, which takes place every year in November in three biggest cities of Lithuania. It is a continues event which is counting its 8th edition in 2011.
