What is going through a man's mind, when his family is killed in front of his eyes? What is it like to be prisoners of war and to undergo torture? Military stories told by foreign journalists show the fate of two hostages of war - Mehribah and Valeh.
Mehribah gave birth to a daughter the day before the death of her husband and other relatives, and both she and her four children were taken prisoner. Valeh lost his wife and eight other relatives in one night and spent two months in painful captivity, where his musician's hands became objects of torture. This painful story of the inhabitans of the town of Khojaly in Nagorno-Karabakh was described by the Lithuanian journalist, Ričardas Lapaitis and the Rusian Victoria Ivleva.
