Director Oksana Buraja's documentary film "Lisa, go home!" remains probably the most invited film to international festivals this year. Autumn screenings of the film in September continued in Bristol.  "Lisa, go home!" participated in the competition program of the 19th annual international short film and animation festival in this city.

These days, O. Buraja's film "Lisa, go home!" is shown in several European film festivals. The film is visiting Paris and Saarbrücken (Germany) – in these cities the 11th International Festival "Signes de Nuit" is held.  The film is also included in the programs of the 57th London Film Festival and the 6th Central and Eastern European Film Festival CinEast in Luxembourg.

O. Buraja's film "Lisa, go home!" tells the story of the dramatic conflict that is crushing childish dreams, conflict between the worlds of the little girl Lisa and her closest adults.  Grim routine often drives Lisa away from home. "Why do you keep running away? What are you missing?", - asks the girl's mother, who does not understand Lisa's intentions to live in a nicer, more enlightened world.

"I wanted to think and talk about the thin shell of our hopes, about fragile dreams, which are associated with the child's inner world. I wanted to look at what ruins and inhibits the brightest feelings, desires and intentions. It is very sad when the soul expectations depend on the force that is, although not comprehended, suppressive and destroying to the personal identity.  And probably everyone feels that force sooner or later," - says director of the film that has won compliments from audiences of Lithuania and other European countries.  The film is created in collaboration between Lithuanian and Estonian Filmmakers (producers Uljana Kim and Arko Okk).

World premiere of "Lisa, go home!" was held last autumn at the competition program of the famous International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film, the film participated in competition programs of prestigious festivals: Clermont - Ferrand, Nancy (France), Hot Docs (Canada), and others.

This year, the film "Lisa, go home!" was awarded the best European short film prize in the international women's film festival in France, the special jury prize at the 36th Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad, the main prize at the International Short Film Festival in Tenerife.

In Lithuania, "Lisa, go home!" was recognized as the best Lithuanian short documentary in the program "New Baltic Cinema" of the last year's European Film Forum Scanorama, and at the "Sidabrinė gervė 2013" (Silver Crane) Awards.
