There will be a sequel to the film "Valentinas Vienas"!
Creators of the highly successful romantic comedy "Valentinas Vienas" that was released last year just before the Valentine's day, already then hinted about a possible sequel to the movie. Now the crew is announcing that the principal photography of the new film, which is given a cheerful title "Valentinas už 2rų" (Valentine Behind the Door), is coming to an end.
The film will include subtle eroticism, but the main focus is on human relationships, sincerity, stereotypical and exceptional situations, so "Valentinas už 2rų" will be more sensitive and deeper than its predecessor.
"We have a very positive attitude, what we dreamed of - sequel to the film "Valentinas Vienas" is finally becoming embodied. It will be different, but it will be! The original script was co-written by our faithful colleague from the times of "Tadas Blinda", Jonas Banys, as well as the director Evaldas Kubilius and contributor from the radio M-1, Ugnė Barauskaitė", - said the film's producers Donatas Ulvydas ir Žilvinas Naujokas.
In the new comedy "Valentinas už 2rų", viewers will be greeted by a truly colourful bunch of actors - some newcomers who are making their first steps will be supported by recognised masters of television, film and theatre. One of the most prominent beauties in the movie will definitely be the charming Jurgita Jurkutė, also the well known and loved actors Vidas Petkevičius, Vaidotas Martinaitis and Algirdas Gradauskas will appear in the film. Asta Baukutė and Karina Stungytė who have added variety to the joyful ensemble, and of course, the funny team of radio M-1 will make the audience laugh.
"Valentinas už 2rų" directed by E.Kubilius is a feel-good romantic comedy with a light hint of eroticism. This time the story will again be about the miracles of the Valentine's night. This is the night when everyone should stop lying to themselves and to others.
On this very night, tired of each other spouses, a newly baked politician and his accessory, a world-weary professor, and young people who have accidentally met, find themselves in situations that compel them to clean thoroughly their emotional closets. And what about Valentine? And Valentine is looking for love, as always. And this time, he gets completely smitten.
