Lithuanian film "Lisa, go home!" won the top prize at the International Festival in Ukraine
Lithuanian documentary film "Lisa, go home!" which is being shown globally in international festivals for the second year, has won another honourable award. The story about the little Lisa's dreams told by documentarian Oksana Buraja, on 27 March received the main prize of the competition program "Docu/short" at the 11th International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival "Docudays UA" in Ukraine. The festival traditionally took place 21-28 March in Kiev, at the Cinema House. Jury of the Docu/short program, which consisted of Ukrainian-American director and producer Andrei Zagdansky, film critic from Russia Victoria Belopolskaya, аnd French documentary filmmaker Stéphanie Lamorré, awarded the Lithuanian film 'Lisa, go home!' "for filmmaker's poetic sensibility and respect for other humans’ secrets".
Last year, the film "Lisa, go home!" was awarded the best European short film prize in the international women's film festival in France, the special jury prize at the 36th Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad, the main prize at the International Short Film Festival in Tenerife.
