Another festival, held in the UK, – the 28th Leeds International Film Festival will show "The Noisemaker" on 12-14 November. At Thessaloniki, Cottbus and Leeds festivals, the film takes part in international short film competition programs.
National premiere of "The Noisemaker" in Lithuania is planned on 14 November within the short film competition program "New Baltic Cinema" at the 12th European Film Forum Scanorama.
The film "The Noisemaker" tells the story of a small-town school waiting for a delegation from the city. They have to bring a new school bell, because the old one no longer meets the standards of sound. However, the school lacks children and not the bell, so the headmaster makes his best to mask the obvious lack and thus avoid the inevitable closure of the school. The main roles of the headmaster and school watcher in the film were played by Valentinas Masalskis and Šarūnas Puidokas.
