The Film Existence, Directed by Giedrė Beinoriūtė, Is among the Best European Short Films
The famous French national short film festival Les Lutins du Court Metrage that will take place in March, for the eighth time, has initiated and organised the competition for the best European short film this year. 30 professional cinematographers viewed the short films offered by 23 European countries and selected the best ones. The short tragicomedy directed by the Lithuanian director Giedrė Beinoriūtė, Existence (Image and Sound Studio), is among the films nominated for the European Les Lutins.
Short films from Poland, Finland, Great Britain, Sweden and Spain are among the six best films. Two thousand cinema professionals of France will have to decide who of the six nominated will be awarded the Les Lutins prize for the best European short film. The award will be announced during the festival, on the 3rd of March in Paris, National Chaillot theatre.
