Kai apkabinsiu tave ‘Back in Your Arms’ was in the program at Polonica Polish Film Festival in Gdynia
The 36th Polish Film Festival held in Gdynis was one of the most important events for national cinema in . Twelve of the latest films made in the country were presented in competitive programs. The members of the international jury that judged them were its Chairman, Director Pawel Pawlikowski, Izraeli Director Ali Folman, Actress Maja Ostaszewska, Opera Director Mariusz Trelinski and Film Selection Expert for the Rotterdam Film Festival Liudmila Cvikova.
Roman Polanski and Tadeusz Konwicki received the awards for lifelong achievements at this festival.
The Polonica program of the festival in Gdynis presents films made with the participation of Polish members as co-producers. This program also screened Kai apkabinsiu tave ‘Back in Your Arms’, directed by Kristijonas Vildžiūnas. The movie was made in by Uljana Kim Studio in joint with Studio Filmowe Tor, headed by Krzysztof Zanussi. The Polish Film Institute was one of the most important supporters of this film alongside the Ministry of Culture of .
‘Back in Your Arms’ was screened at the festival on June 10. It was presented by Director Kristijonas Vildžiūnas, Produser Uljana Kim and Co-producer Krzysztof Zanussi.
